Tomato diet

In terms of the quantitative ratio of vitamin C, some types of tomatoes surpass even citrus fruits. Tomatoes are low-calorie foods, so their use in diet for weight loss is fully justified. Tomatoes contain a huge amount of iron compounds, which are easily absorbed by the body.

Tomatoes are a source of B vitamins. B9 or folic acid is a very important vitamin in the processes of blood formation, in addition, this vitamin normalizes the exchange of cholesterol in the blood. 

However, you should be aware that the tomato diet is not suitable for everyone. Contraindications to the tomato diet are stomach ulcers, gastritis and pancreatitis, cholecystitis, etc. naturally allergic to tomatoes. 

The tomato diet is made up of many varieties and combinations of foods. The tomato diet can last from one day to several weeks. Everyone chooses a tomato diet that suits their needs and goals.

Tomato diet – fasting day

During the day, you need to eat 1.5 – 2 kg of raw tomatoes, dividing them into several meals. Such unloading can be arranged for two days in a row. The result can be weight loss even by 10 kg.

Three-day tomato diet

This “emergency” tomato diet makes it possible to lose up to 3 kilograms. You can eat 4 times a day to avoid hunger.

For breakfast

You can choose from options:

– a glass of tomato juice, 2 slices of black bread with a little oil; 

– a glass of tomato juice, low-fat cottage cheese;

– a glass of tomato juice, fresh fruit salad.

For lunch

To choose from:

– a glass of tomato juice, boiled rice, a fresh apple;

– a glass of tomato juice, boiled fish, cucumber salad with tomatoes and herbs with vegetable oil without salt, some fresh grapes.

For dinner

– half a boiled chicken breast, half a plate of boiled rice.

You can drink water with lemon juice.

Weekly tomato diet

This diet option is suitable for lovers of fresh tomato juice. In a week, you can lose weight up to 5 kg. It is recommended to follow the rules of such a tomato diet a maximum of once every 30 days.

1st day: 5 potatoes, boiled in their uniform, 1 liter of freshly squeezed tomato juice.

2nd day: 500 g fat-free cottage cheese, 1 liter of freshly squeezed tomato juice.

3rd day: 1 kg of any fresh fruit, except grapes and bananas, 1 liter of fresh tomato juice. 

4th day: 1 liter of freshly squeezed tomato juice, a pound of boiled chicken meat.  

5th day: 1 liter of freshly squeezed tomato juice, 600 g of dried fruits, except for dried bananas and raisins. 

6th day: 1 liter of freshly squeezed tomato juice, a pound of low-fat yogurt.

7th day: 1 liter of freshly squeezed tomato juice, half a kilo of low-fat fish or boiled chicken.

You can drink still mineral water, tea or coffee without sugar.

2 week tomato diet

You can only stick to two weeks. During this time, you can lose up to five kilograms. You can eat meat, in particular, veal, lean lean beef. Meat can be boiled or cooked in a double boiler or grill, the main thing is not to fry it. 

For breakfast: a glass of freshly squeezed tomato juice, two slices of black bread, a little low-fat cottage cheese, fruits, excluding bananas and grapes.

For lunch: a glass of freshly squeezed tomato juice, boiled rice without dressing, steamed vegetables, fresh fruit.

For dinner: steamed calf cutlet, boiled vegetables and rice, a glass of freshly squeezed tomato juice.
