For some, diet is a necessity, for others a hobby. With the arrival of the beautiful reed Twiggy on the catwalk, the standard of beauty from ladies with curvaceous forms has passed to very thin and almost flat. At this point, the diet also became a tribute to fashion. However, regardless of the woman’s motives, the diet should benefit the body, and not harm that negatively affect health. Therefore, from the whole variety of proposed diet options, it is necessary to choose the one that will reduce weight and thereby improve well-being, and not make you starve to the point of gastritis attacks. From this, the basic concept is formed – a healthy diet. So what is behind this concept?

First, a healthy diet requires an appropriate emotional state. After all, a lot in our life depends on how we ourselves see the situation. It is imperative to be in the mood for success and stop obsessing over your appearance. Only by believing in yourself, you can achieve what you want. Constantly forcing yourself, you can’t go far.

Second, a healthy diet is impossible without physical activity. Sitting in place all day, and only terrorizing yourself with hunger, you will not bring anything but harm to yourself. Few people know that at the very beginning of the diet, the body draws its reserves from the liver, and not adipose tissue. As a result, an extra load on the liver is created and no more. In order for the body to begin to remove fat reserves, complex work is needed on itself, which includes reducing calorie intake and burning fat through physical activity. Heavy weight will, of course, be a hindrance to active training, but physical activity is not only grueling exercise in a fitness center. Modern literature allows you to choose a wide variety of training schemes, taking into account age, weight and health status. Even simple walks can already be considered physical activity. And for those for whom active and rhythmic movements are contraindicated, there is yoga and callanetics. 

Stretching is an important part of exercise. It allows you to correct the contour of the figure and give a slender silhouette. This is extremely important for those who focus on strength exercises for various muscle groups in their training program. If you do not follow a diet and give up stretching, then muscle training hi to the fact that muscles will grow under the adipose tissue, and the figure will only increase in volume. You can combine business with pleasure and sign up for dances – then grace and gentleness of movements will be acquired for a slender figure, which will be appreciated by the stronger sex.

Third, a healthy diet, of course, involves eating well. The main purpose of the first diets was therapeutic. Diet is not really another method of self-torture, the task of the diet is to improve the state of the body, and not to introduce it into a state of stress. This should be borne in mind when choosing various express diets that promise good results in a short time. It is impossible to lose 20 kilograms in a month in a healthy way. Even if the effect is achieved in some miraculous way, it will result in an undermining of health, exacerbation of chronic diseases and the return of doubled weight in the near future. At the same time, short periods of weight loss lead to sagging skin, and weight gain some time after the end of the diet threatens to add stretch marks on the skin.

Proper nutrition primarily involves eating at least 3 times a day. Ideally, you should eat a small meal every 4 hours. Do not think that having eaten 1 time a day, you will be able to quickly lose weight. This eating regimen only contributes to the development of gastritis and is not a healthy approach to weight loss. It is better to eat more often, but in small portions. You can fool yourself by replacing the plates in the house with small ones. It is believed that blue colors reduce appetite, so you can use shades of blue when decorating the table and kitchen. Also, with a decrease in appetite, the smell of a green apple helps well. You can try buying aromatic oils and spreading the pleasant scent of green apple around the house. The strict rule not to eat after 18.00 was invented for a reason, but the modern rhythm of life does not always allow its application. In this case, it is enough to have dinner at least 2 hours before bedtime. If after lunch you want to take a nap, then you should not do this right away.

Subject to the correct diet, it is necessary to exclude tasty but harmful products from the menu: smoked sausage, sweets, cakes, various semi-finished products and fast food. Sweets can be replaced with dried fruits, and your favorite milk chocolate – with black bitter. Instead of sausage, it is better to stew or cook meat. It is desirable that it be either chicken or beef. It is also imperative to include in your diet various vegetables and herbs, salads. Alas, you will have to refuse from sugary carbonated drinks.

You can deceive the stomach with a glass of water half an hour before meals. This will allow you to eat less food at the table and not feel very hungry. You can add a little honey and lemon to a glass of water. It is also worth remembering that quite often the feeling of hunger is confused with thirst. Therefore, it is better to drink more often.

A variety of low-carb diets can help in adhering to these principles. Their principle of work is to limit the consumption of carbohydrates, which serve as a source of excess weight formation. At the same time, low-carb diets do not require a strong restriction in the consumed foods and cannot cause a deficiency of essential nutrients. Also, low-carb diets allow you not only to properly organize your diet for the period of the diet, but also to change your menu for the rest of your life. An important advantage of this method of weight loss is also the fact that low-carb diets allow you to eat a variety of dishes without limiting your culinary imagination.
