Caution Diet! The harm and benefits of diets: the pros and cons

Tanya sat opposite and, grimacing in disgust, tried to drink some dirty, viscous liquid that looked like wallpaper glue. – What is it with you? I asked. – Protein shake. It swells in the stomach, creating a feeling of fullness. I don’t want to eat at all. I’m losing weight! I went on a diet, I’ll drink a cocktail in the morning instead of breakfast. The taste is rare, but they say it is useful, and you can lose weight quickly. – Oh … – I could only sigh …

It should be noted that my colleague Tanya, twenty-three years old, very attractive girl with a beautiful figure, almost 90-60-90. The chest is outstanding, the waist with her, nowhere, either folds or zhirinki, is engaged in oriental dances. Well, the question is, why should she lose weight? Where to? Dear girls! Why are you doing this to yourself? Not that I’m against diets, but let’s figure it out.  

“FOR” diet

Well, then, you say. Doctors even prescribe a diet ! Who was at the doctors knows what diets doctors prescribe: exclude fried, spicy, salty, coffee, alcohol. Well, that’s all right – all irritants of the mucous membrane of the stomach and intestines, “pests” of the liver, are subject to exclusion. Roast is difficult to digest by the stomach, strongly salty foods or spicy foods irritate the intestinal mucosa, strong coffee in the morning on an empty stomach will do nothing but harm, and if also with a cigarette …  

I ’m silent about alcohol in general . So, after all the exceptions of the evil doctors, we get our menu: light soup, porridge, steam cutlets, chicken, bran bread, vegetables, fruits. What is food for you? This, by the way, is a diet! Moreover, useful in all respects. Light food is well absorbed by the body, after it there is no heaviness in the stomach, an excellent metabolism. The body itself with this nutrition will begin to remove unnecessary waste and excess body fat.  

There is another nice bonus: When you eat daily in the “light” mode and the body is not overloaded with the fight against harmful food, you can always afford to eat whatever you want! Imagine your friends at the birthday party languidly sigh on the cake, but you can! You are on a smart diet. Remember: you need to eat regularly, fully, easily and tasty. Want one or two days of unloading? You are welcome! Eat only lean food: vegetables and fruits, as much as possible.  

Cons diet

Very fashionable diet for weight loss: a week there are two eggs for breakfast, one for lunch and a half for dinner. Or: eat a kilogram of cucumbers for two weeks, and then do not eat at all for a week, just drink. This I, of course, exaggerate. But there are a lot of such clever diets. Do you know what vitamins are and where they come from? That’s right, ingested with food. Moreover, different vitamins are in different products in different conditions. Imagine that you are depriving yourself of useful substances from which hair should grow, skin is renewed, bones and nails are strengthened.  

The result of the diet may not be weight loss at all, but hair loss, brittle nails, and a pale, unhealthy complexion. And this is at best. At worst, gastritis, an ulcer, a hospital bed. You are a young girl, without hair, with bruises under her eyes, sick, but on a diet! Do you know why almost all lovers of diets and hunger strides get better after a diet? The body has a shock: it is not fed for a long time, it is not given “building materials” for normal life, therefore, when the hostess finally finishes the diet, the body “stores” a maximum of nutrients in reserve in case of repeated hunger strike in subcutaneous and internal fat .  

Hence the conclusion : feed yourself regularly, in moderation, do not transmit, do not starve, do not overload the body, then it will simply work in normal mode, and you will remain in its natural form. And if you naturally have a wide hip bone, then you can’t help with diets. Accept yourself for who you are! Sagged belly – then it’s better to go to the gym! 

What to do if always want to eat? Especially at night! Here you will need the willpower that you spend on refusing normal food. Eat everything, but on schedule. And back off the schedule no-no! In fact, excessive appetite comes from idleness. I myself know: as soon as a free day off – so chewing does not stop all day. Occupy yourself with something! Visit a fitness club, learn how to cross-stitch, or something else. There is a need to live, and not vice versa. 

I do not pretend to be the ultimate truth, eat as you like. Perhaps, for some, periodic hunger strikes are suitable, for some fast days, someone wants to eat only vegetables and fruits. Listen to your body: if he insistently wants meat or a sandwich with butter, then he needs vitamins contained in these products. Allow yourself boiled chicken and a slice of white bread and butter, eat it with pleasure and good, do not torture yourself with protein shakes “because I’m on a diet.”  

The end of my story is sad. Tanya certainly lost weight. Only in a different way. The body malfunctioned from malnutrition: first gastritis, then appendicitis, surgery. A “dead” figure came out of the hospital, with a considerably reduced breast and a not very tasty booty. She can’t dance for a long time now. This story is real. I hope she teaches lovers something to lose weight, and you will always be on the “right” diet!
