I must say that the diet of ballerinas is not some kind of specific nutritional scheme. Each ballerina follows her own diet. The only thing these kids have in common is the basic principles.
The ballerinas’ diet is designed to compensate for the daily waste of the body’s energy forces. Professional ballerinas six hours a day, seven days a week. After such physical activity, some ballerinas lose their appetite altogether, and some, on the contrary, do not want to think about any diets.
The strict schedule of work and training of ballerinas affects the diet of ballerinas in such a way that they eat at least five times a day, but in small portions. The diet of ballerinas will amaze any person, because a ballerina can eat three sandwiches and a large portion of porridge for breakfast, and before going on stage, “pamper” herself with a large portion of any meat dish. Meanwhile, this is not surprising – not a single person can withstand such loads, denying himself almost all food.
The difference in the diet of one ballerina from another is due to the differences in their training and family education.
Looking at the ballerina, light as a thread of a web, fluttering across the stage, they forget their titanic work on their figure, stretch and grace. This is where the search for a ballerina’s diet begins.
General principles of ballerinas diet
At least half an hour before eating, you must drink a glass of water.
Half an hour after eating, you also need to force yourself to drink a glass of water.
Large quantities of water are required by professional ballerinas to protect the body from possible dehydration, prevent problems with the gastrointestinal tract, and remove metabolic waste substances from the body.
When eating soup, you should not supplement it with any other foods, such as bread. The rest of the products significantly inhibit the process of assimilation of the eaten and negatively affect the work of the gastrointestinal tract.
The diet of ballerinas excludes mixing proteins of different origins, for example, it is forbidden to combine chicken eggs with meat, and dairy products with fish. But fish and meat products can be eaten together, but must be separated during the cooking process. Eating only one type of protein at a time will save you from problems with the digestive tract.
The diet of ballerinas involves eating an extremely small amount of salt. Salt can be replaced with seasonings or soy sauce, again in small quantities and in ready-made meals.
The ballerina’s diet excludes the use of mayonnaise, because it is quite high in calories and difficult to digest. Preference is given to dairy and fermented milk products with a low fat content.
Ballerinas’ diet is a principle of nutrition according to certain rules. Moreover, these rules do not conflict with a balanced diet and do not run counter to the advice of nutritionists. Exercise is also important.
